Placements @ Alliance University

Placements at Alliance University (AU) are the final resultant of a rigorous three-step process encompassing a student’s life cycle:

  • Academic enrichment
  • Industrial Internship & Corporate interaction
  • Personality Development

As a part of the MBA program, students undergo a 24-month academic coaching in the campus which is delivered by top-notch faculties having prior industry or relevant teaching experience. The syllabus and pedagogy is sharp, industry-specific and flexible suiting to contemporary corporate needs.
Unlike most B-schools where internship is an optional part, AU strongly emphasizes on a well-structured, weighted (6-12 Credit) Industrial Internship Program (IIP) which is strategically placed between Semester II and Semester III so that students are well aware of all business functions before they pursue a full-time, 8-weeks internship at any organization. This helps in their understanding of practical realities of business and application of management studies. It also helps them align their choice of career in future.
The Centre for Industry Interaction (CII) ensures that management students are exposed from time-to-time on recent developments and trends going on in different industries through special interactive sessions by suitably engaging with industry professionals.
In order to be job-ready and face the challenges head-on in a corporate, students are taken through an all-round development course by the (Full Form) CECL department where they undergo grooming on factors like communication skills, leadership skills, value system, and ethical behaviour. Along with these, regular sessions on mock GD & PIs are conducted along with resume-writing where students are handheld by experienced faculty members. The course carries 2-4 Credit weightage in the curriculum and comprises of theoretical as well as practical demonstrations of expected behavioural attributes.
Students are offered scrupulous placement assistance by the Office of Career Advancement & Networking (CAN) provided they have fared well in all of the above areas. It is the best effort of the CAN office to assist students with utmost genuine concern and sincerity.
